| The Hudson Hawks emerged as a team
in the summer of 1995 in Hudson City, New Jersey. They quickly forged
themselves into an effective team, using state of the art commercial
technology in order to maintain close contact with one another.
The founding members of the team were Firehawk, a woman with the
ability to manipulate fire; Olympian, a very adaptable and adept
strong man; and Orion, a PRIMUS Intelligence operative who discovered
an alien artifact of incredible power while camping. They were soon
joined by Jade, a journalist who blew the lid off of the San Francisco
VIPER Net on live CNN feed.
The Hudson Hawks, despite the unfortunate incident surrounding Jade's defection to the Wild Geese, have proven to be a predictible, if not controllable, hero team. They have maintained a high-profile public presense with support for public broadcasting, charities, licensing of Hudson Hawks products (all proceeds going to charity), and the ever-present Orion, helping during any and all international crises. Firehawk's loyalty to PRIMUS (and marriage to Silver Avenger Hawkins) and the close relationship of the Hawks to Golden Avenger Johnson have proven useful to PRIMUS Intelligence. Recently the Hudson Hawks have taken too great of an interest in PRIMUS activities, an interest which can be cultivated to our advantage. PRIMUS Intelligence personnel are to maintain detailed accounts of the actions of the Hudson Hawks and not directly interfere with their activities. Note from the GM: to those of you famliar with my PBEM games, you'll notice that many of the requirements that I insist on from PBEM players in the G3 and AI Inc games -- such as paying points for degrees and personality quirks -- are not present in these characters. This is the game that started it all, and I've become much meaner in recent years. |
