When Simon was 11 his father started to indoctrinate into the cult, but before his father could get very far the police found out about the cult and raided the black temple. Simon's father died in the raid, shot in the ensuing gun battle. Simon grew up wanting to take his father's place and gain power over people. Simon knew that the reason his father had died was that he didn't have enough magical power, so he began to study magic. Upon entering college he found out about a little known branch of sound related magic, Sonimancy. He spent his free time in the University's libraries researching Sonimancy. His desire to control others led him to learn about summoning, he didn't want to summon Demons; they are never truly under anyone's control; but decided to work on Elementals. Things were going well until he found the Scroll of Mythros which told how to summon sound elementals and force them to one's will. Exited by his find he told the department head of the Parasychology Department about it. The department head laughed at him and when Simon demanded to publish the head had him thrown out of the University. Simon stole the scroll from the library and now seeks to find some way to revenge himself on the university. They are very similar to air elementals, and are in fact related to them. Sound elementals manifest as a hazy cloud of multi-colored light in a humanoid shape. Sound Elementals constantly give of a high pitched whine, which is made up of thousands of different sounds. Any sound made around a Sound Elemental will repeat endlessly, gradually fading in volume and becoming lost in the background din. A Sound Elemental's form of attack is a high-pitches sonic blast which tears at the target's substance and deafens it as well. Sound Elementals are attracted to loud noises and unless they are actively pursuing some prey they will gather around the source of the noise. They feed by absorbing sound, and seem to particularly enjoy the screams of agony given off when they kill a living creature.
