Champions Write-Ups
Character submissions, and a template

Submitting your own characters

Deejay preferred plain text writeups - we haven't yet duplicated his program to add HTML tags, though plan to eventually. For now, if you want to submit a character, the best way is to start with a character writeup you like, use your browser's SAVE button, and edit the HTML code with the data from your writeup. Or you can use the format as Deejay describes it below, and wait for us to write the program to convert it. Either way leaves something to be desired, we understand :-).

If you submit several characters at once, zip them and mail them as a MIME attachment.

I can't accept HeroMaker files. I don't have the software and I don't know the file format, so I can't work with HeroMaker files. Sorry.

Please note that all characters submitted to the site are published with the same copyright: Copying is freely permitted, provided the credits are left intact. By submitting your materials to the Write-Ups site, you agree to these terms.

E-mail characters to gruban@geocities.com or scm@intercomm.com. The less work that has to be done to put them up, the faster they will be posted. And thanks for your support!

Template for character submissions

Stick with this format, and I'll be happy. Use only one column for stats, powers/talents/skills/perks, and disadvantages; give the value and point cost for each stat; give a point cost for each power line; and give a list of disadvantages (if any) with the points on the left.

You'll notice that this layout differs a little from the layout as seen on the character pages; I've designed the submission format to be easy for you to work with.

You can peruse the write-ups, see some original characters, or visit the home pages of the maintainers: Shelley Chrystal Mactyre and George Ruban.

Dedicated to Jack Wilson, who first collected these write-ups. Rest in peace, Deejay.
